She claims she’s new to “serious” golf, but we suspect Christa is bringing the heat to the long drive competition on April 11. Between working as the Provider Relationship Account Director for Elevance Health, raising two young boys (three if you count a certain other LDLD legend with the same last name), spending time with friends, she’s still found time in the last year for more serious lessons, practice, and consistency in her golf game. 

Christa is showing up for LDLD because “cancer is very prevalent in my family history, so any type of awareness and screening that’s available (no matter the type of cancer) is vital. My grandmother died from ovarian cancer where there is no good screening available, so if one can screen and catch cancer in early stages, why wouldn’t you?! Additionally, I love that LD supports local patients in our community diagnosed with cancer. Such a great cause!!”

If that wasn’t reason enough to show your support for Christa’s LDLD fundraiser, let’s not forget that she was the one who signed Ben Affleck up for a gym membership when he was shooting Gone Girl in Cape. Who else in this lineup can say they’ve got direct Hollywood connections?
